As a core component of rotating equipment, bearings are most commonly affected by abnormal temperature rise. The following are eight main causes:

1. Excessive Vibration: Severe vibration of the bearing housing.
2. Poor Lubrication: Grease deterioration, contamination, or improper filling.
3. Installation Issues: The bearing is installed crookedly or non-concentrically.
4. Outer Ring Rotation: The outer ring of the bearing rubs against the housing.
5. Inner Ring Runout: The inner ring of the bearing slides relative to the shaft.
6. Component Damage: Bearing damage or shaft bending.
7. Inadequate Cooling: Cooling water flow is insufficient or interrupted.
8. Mechanical Friction: The impeller rubs against the housing.
